President and Chief Executive Officer
Marc Bell is founder of Marc Bell Capital, chairman and co-founder of Terran Orbital and PredaSAR, and co-founder of Armour Residential REIT. He is also a vivid Broadway producer with two Tony Award-winning Broadway shows: Jersey Boys (Best Musical) and August Osage County (Best Play); his (most recent or) current Tony Award-nominated Broadway show is Beetlejuice (Best Musical). In addition to the NYU Board of Trustees, he is a member of the NYU Langone Health Board of Overseers, the NYU Stern Center for Real Estate Finance Research Advisory Board, and the NYU College of Arts and Science Dean’s Advisory Council. Bell is also chairman of the Boca Raton Police Foundation and serves on the boards of SOS Children’s Villages Florida.
Vice President, Investments
Arthur Percy, Vice President, head of investments at Marc Bell Capital, has more than 25 years of experience in investing in and running multimillion dollar companies. He started his career in New York working as a Senior Vice President for Synergy International and has spent the last 15 years incubating companies and assessing investments in the technology and hospitality industries. He comes to MBC with extensive knowledge having served previously as COO and CCO of two international digital real time companies and digital asset startups. His due diligence expertise and deck assessment insight has been part of MBC for almost 2 years. He received his Honorary and Bachelor degrees from Upper Canada College and American University.
Vice President, Capital Markets and Real Estate
Max Kiejdan is Vice President of Capital Markets and Real Estate for Marc Bell Capital. He joined the firm in April of 2018 and supports the firm’s capital raises, assists in new business generation, and leads the marketing and sale of residential and commercial property as the licensed Broker of Record for the firm’s subsidiary company, Marc Bell Real Estate. Prior to joining Marc Bell Capital, Mr. Kiejdan was an investment analyst for a national multifamily brokerage house and a property tax consultant for a global tax services company. Mr. Kiejdan graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a double major in Accounting and Finance and a minor in government. Mr. Kiejdan further obtained a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate and Infrastructure Design from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Kiejdan holds an active Florida Real Estate Brokers License and is a licensed REALTOR®.
JO-JEAN FIGUEIRA, ESQ.
Jo-Jean Figueira serves as General Counsel of Marc Bell Capital LLC (“MBC”), responsible for all legal affairs for MBC, and reports directly to Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) Marc Bell.
Jo-Jean brings more than 20 years of legal experience to MBC. As General Counsel, Jo-Jean works closely with MBC’s senior executives, investment professionals, co-investors and board members on a wide variety of legal activities across the firm’s portfolio. In this role, Jo-Jean is responsible for deal structuring, due diligence, risk management, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, advising on transactions and negotiations and the handling of all litigation matters. As General Counsel, Jo-Jean also manages a global team of outside counsel. A dynamic leader, Jo-Jean takes the lead in all aspects of the firm’s legal affairs, including support for business units, corporate functions, board-related legal matters, intellectual property, litigation and insurance matters.
Prior to joining MBC, Jo-Jean worked as Senior Counsel to several prominent law firms in the Boca Raton area advising on various corporate and litigation matters. Most recently, Jo-Jean served for seven years as Vice President, Associate Counsel, of FriendFinder Networks, Inc., the parent company of Penthouse Magazine. She was head of the litigation department and advised the company on various complex agreements related to satellite, content, internet, technology and other strategic initiatives, as well as employment, real estate, collection, trademark and insurance matters. She was a key member of the team involved in bringing the company public.
Jo-Jean received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, where she graduated with high honors. She also graduated high school in three years and was awarded early admission to college. Jo-Jean is a member of the Florida Bar and the District of Columbia Bar and is admitted to practice in the Federal Judicial Districts of Florida (the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida), U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and Eastern District of Texas.
Fisher is a subject matter expert and frequent speaker and media commentator on Blockchain, technology, and law. She currently represents numerous clients on an ongoing basis concerning the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets, including but not limited to AML/KYC compliance, investor due diligence, token offerings, and much more. Fisher also advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters and technology transactions including entity formation, corporate governance, fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings, IP protection, technology licensing, privacy and data security, and regulatory compliance.
